- OVA Studio ltd. is a Hong Kong based Multidisciplinary Design office specializing in Architecture, Interior Design, Master Planning and Product Design, founded in 2008.
The team has an international design experience covering several continents (Europe and Asia) spanning over 20 years. OVA design philosophy is grounded in innovative and sustainable designs to maximize the potential of the client’s brief and to propose solution that stretch beyond the expected answers. Through its extensive network OVA Studio is able to draw specific competences to answer specific project based needs.
We strive to offer “boutique” style services to our clients, a personalized one on one tailored approach to our contracts, enabling high value services for competitive fees.
In Hong Kong we offer turn key projects for interiors as we can operate as main contractors with a highly experienced and qualified workmanship.
OVA Studio has extensive experience in designing Retails, Residential developments, Offices, Hospitality, Religious & Entertainment Projects and Infrastructure design (Bridges, Railway Stations...).
- SLIMANE OUAHESSlimane graduated (M.Arch) in 2002 with honours from Ecole d'Architecture de Paris Belleville. Slimane joined Reichen & Robert, Paris in 2003 as a Senior Architect. In 2004 he joined Ora-Ito design studio (Paris) as Project Head. Slimane set up his own practice in 2006 in Paris.
Seeking more experience, Slimane moved in Hong Kong in 2007 and joined Woods Bagot as a design/project Leader, leading a team of 10 people on a 630 rooms international 5 star hotel in China.
At the end of 2008, Slimane set up OVA Studio Limited, making use of an extensive pool of international talents in Hong Kong with international exposure, allowing OVA Studio to address a wide range of projects, from Commercial Developments to Infrastructure and Residential. His design and creative flair bring OVA Studio a refreshing take on architecture.CHRISTOPHE BARTHELEMYChristophe graduated (M.Arch) in Architecture in 1988 with honours from Ecole D’Architecture Paris la Seine, Paris. He joined Seifert International, London in 1989. Back in Paris in 1990 he first worked for Jean Nouvel and later Marc Mimram Arch. & Eng. as Resident Architect for a medium size stadium.
In 1998 Christophe was appointed Project Manager at Arup Associates for Phase 2 of MTRC’s Airport Express Station in Central, Hong Kong. In 1999 Christophe took on the role of Project Manager for a massive religious project in India, a 150m tall, bronze clad statue of Maitreya Buddha.
Christophe has acquired a diverse set of skills such as, Design Implementation and Process, Managing teams and Consultants, Technical integration (Multi-disciplinary approach), Project Brief Drafting and Cost Control. Christophe always strives to achieve excellence in both design and technical implementation.
